Job Description



Lineage Logistics is currently seeking an HR Onboarding Manager to join our team in Novi, MI. The HR Onboarding Manager will be responsible for the integration of all onboarding, from Human Resources to floor training. Additionally, the HR Onboarding Manager will act as the single point of contact for Lead Trainers and other site personnel, including Human Resources, Operations, and Safety, for our Onboarding Program.

Responsibilities of the Onboarding Manager:

  • Refresh and publish collateral periodically, administer and manage all collateral used in the Onboarding Program, and work with individual sites for site-specific updating
  • Leverage lean thinking, process management, and drive best practices to increase the effectiveness of current Onboarding Program and future iterations
  • Facilitate weekly Lead Trainer calls and develop process for working with individual sites on an ad hoc basis, including coaching, problem solving, and sharing best practices
  • Collect and report on weekly metrics for overall program, including the Weekly New Hire Survey, and utilize tools and automation via the HR Dashboard to distribute to, follow up with, and improve the overall program and individual sites
  • Develop and manage overall program with individual sites using SMART goals criteria
  • Engage in the processes associated with a new hire’s continued training and development post- onboarding (week 2 and beyond)
  • Responsible for training design

 

Required Qualifications of the Onboarding Manager:

  • Proven success implementing change and initiatives across a large organization
  • Experience designing and facilitating trainings
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to interact and successfully communicate with C-suite level employees

 

Preferred Qualifications of the Onboarding Manager:

  • Experience working in warehousing or manufacturing environments
